The first appointment will be about getting to know you, what is currently happening in your life, and your history.
The intake may take 1 or few sessions, as it is important to get a good understanding of what's driving your difficulties before we create a treatment plan. Not only that, it also helps us understand how some patterns in your life developed and maintained. Therefore we understand the underlying issues rather than simply reducing symptoms.
Following the intake session, I will share my understanding and together we discuss a personalised treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.
We meet for our individual sessions. Normally we start weekly or fortnightly, and as you continue to progress we can space out the frequency of therapy depending on your needs.
Throughout the course of treatment, we will discuss your progress and review your treatment.
